St Mary's Axe

The LED lighting scheme was designed by Lightmasters UK Ltd and was installed by our engineers. This was a six week project that was completed in January 2013.

This was an eight floor double aspect glass staircase and feature wall installation, to be completed in floor stages from the top floor down, in conjunction with the steel fabricators installing the staircase. We fitted 200m of 24v cool white LED tape, in non-conductive aluminium with opaque diffuser, the full length of the stringers and platforms. each floor is individually controlled by DMX and can be chased and dimmed via a Dali controller behind the reception desk.

Main Feature Wall - 56m of cool white LED optic strips installed the full height of the building, these lights can also be chased and dimmed from a Dali Controller.

Small Leather Feature Wall - As used within the staircase we fitted 24v cool white LED tape, in 9 x 600mm non-conductive aluminium profile with opaque diffuser.
